53 people participated in the TCCVM walk and picnic last Sunday, September 27th at Wabun Picnic Area at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Participants included TCCVM voice mail users, board members, staff, friends, and family.
We raised $2,825 that will be used to pay transportation costs (bus fare, gas) for people who participate in the TCCVM Advisory Board and 50+ group.We thank the many sponsors of our walkers who made this possible.
We had great food prepared by our own chef (and Board Chair) Mike Menner as well as Cheri Speeter Margoles and Debra Bean. It turned out to be a nice day after a bit of rain and strong winds. Participants got a chance to walk, eat and socialize. Thanks to Anthony Elliott and Mike Menner for being the M.C.’s for the event.
The walk took a lot of time and effort to plan and organize. Thanks to walk committee members: Cheri Speeter Margoles (Committee Chair), Debra Bean, Anthony Elliott and Ed Petsche for all of their time and effort in making the walk a success.
